Instructions for the Virtual Farm

The QuickTime VR movie must be viewed with QuickTime (QT). Netscape and Internet Explorer usually open MOV files with Media Player, even if QT is on your computer. If this happens you may have to save the MOV file and open it later with QT. If you do not have QT it can be obtained from: http://www.quicktime.com/ (but it is a BIG file). The "LatyshFarmS.mov" is 2.2 MB, so will take a long time to download. This is the MOST compressed version. If you can save it to your computer it is better viewed at "Double Size".

In each scene you can look around by moving the mouse while holding the left mouse button down. When the cursor changes from a circle to an arrow you can move to another scene by clicking the left mouse button. The information bar on the bottom of the movie will tell you what the next scene is. You can go back a scene by pressing |<-, or move in (+) or out (-). If you get lost you can press the ? button to show the "HOT SPOTS". In the house you can move from room to room by clicking the left mouse button on the doorways. Many of the pictures can be made bigger by clicking on them. Return to the room by clicking the picture again.
