Wawatay TV broadcasts its programs through the national Aboriginal Television Network. Wawatay Kids TV, intended for children between the ages of four and ten, teaches basic Ojibway, oral storytelling, as well as life and wilderness lessons. For example, "Cry of the Loon Fishing Adventures" shares Indigenous traditional fishing techniques, and "Shoomis' Legends" recounts Indigenous legends and explores birch bark canoe making.
