Deutsche Post was a German language weekly published in Renfrew County, Ontario from 1901. The newspaper was edited and published by Bahne Peter Christiansen. Deutsche Post aimed to reach German readers in eastern Ontario and Quebec. The newspaper also offered advertising service for the following areas: Renfrew County, Ottawa, Montreal and Ladysmith, and New Ontario. Deutsche Post was an independent newspaper in politics. It was an eight-page paper with six columns per page. The popularity of Deutsche Post increased quickly. In 1912, it had a circulation of 1,400 copies. However, the circulation declined at the beginning of World War I. Deutsche Post suspended publication in 1918.
