Description
The Chinatown News was an English-language biweekly magazine started in Vancouver, British Columbia. Its founder, Roy Mah was an active member of many Chinese-Canadian organizations, including the Chinese Veterans, and he was a proud first-generation Canadian. Mah started an earlier bilingual tabloid called the New Citizen, which ran from 1948 to 1952, and led to the creation of the Chinatown News.
