Otipemisiwak, or Otipemisiwak, the voice of the Métis Nation in Alberta and later  Otiwemisiwak, the people who own ourselves, is a magazine that is periodically published by the Métis Nation of Alberta (MNA). Otipemisiwak in Michif means 'the indepent ones'. The magazine is published digitally in PDF form. Subscribers may opt in to receive a digital PDF copy of the magazine via the MNA Otipemisiwak distribution list. Early editions were also available in print. The magazine covers MNA information, events, and achievements, as well as news and information about Métis people in Canada more broadly. First published in 2004, the magazine covers a wide variety of topics including culture, politics, society, and other topics of interest to members of the Métis Nation of Alberta as well as other interested readers.
