In October 2011, Red Maple News started its publication in London, Canada, and it has expanded its influence steadily over the years. Now its publication range also includes Toronto and the surrounding areas. Apart from publishing a newspaper, Red Maple News also make use of website, internet TV etc. to reach their mostly Chinese readers. In 2016, Red Maple News was the only Chinese press from Canada invited to Beijing to attend NPC & CPPCC. It also has branches in Beijing, Guizhou and Chengdu.
