Overview
The University of Alberta Middle Eastern and North African Music Ensemble (MENAME) is a University of Alberta course and a community group for the study and performance of music from Arabic, Turkish, Persian/Iranian, Azerbaijani, Berber, Hebrew, Nubian, Kurdish, Armenian, Greek, and other musical-linguistic communities of the Middle East and North Africa, as well as fusions thereof.
