UARE student delivers poster presentation on Orlando

Congratulations to our summer Graduate Research Assistant Gideon Brobbey, for his participation in a University of Alberta Research Exchange (UARE) showcase on 22 August 2018. He created and presented a poster on the centrepiece of his Orlando activities: a new textbase entry on British-Nigerian writer Helen Oyeyemi, which he is co-authoring with our Literary Director, Corrinne Harol. An M.Phil. student at the University of Ghana, Gideon joined the team under the auspices of the UARE program and will complete his work with us by delivering a talk on “Helen Oyeyemi in Focus” at our upcoming symposium on contemporary women’s writing.
