MQ = maqsum (4 beats): DT.TD.T.

MS = masmudi saghir (4 beats): DD.TD.T.

SA = sa`idi (4 beats): DT.DD.T.

B = bamb (2 beats): DT.TD.T. (same as maqsum, but compressed to only 2 beats)

A = ayyub (2 beats): D..TD.T.

P = one beat pattern, consisting of D.TT
