Patrick: "I'll be sharing my research with African art music composers in Ghana from this past summer. My goal is to give a basic overview on the significance and role of art music amongst composers young and old in Ghana today. I'll play video and audio clips from various performances and scores, give a brief overview of initial conclusions and ideas and share plans for an ongoing performance and recording project on African art music at the University of Alberta".
