Final papers and take-home finals are due April 28th (email and hardcopy to my dept of music box, 3-82 FAB)

Fieldwork reports are due on the day you present, unless there are extenuating circumstances. Please *email* all reports to me; it always helps to have an e-copy available.

I said that the second SC paper is due next Thursday, April 6th - let's make it due by the end of the day on Saturday (April 8th) instead, in order to reduce mid-week stress (without ruining your entire weekend). Email is best.

Federico Spinetti is arriving over the week weekend; his area of expertise is music in Tajikistan. Please come to hear his job talk on Monday April 3rd, at 3pm, in FAB 2-7. He'll teach Tuesday's class, April 4. (Don't forget to read the paper I distributed beforehand.)

By Wednesday noon, do try to send me some feedback on the three candidates for the position in ethnomusicology.

Thursday the 6th we'll finish the fieldwork reports.

Tuesday the 11th you'll do course evaluations, receive the take-home final, either see a film or hear about Veronica Pacheco's research on music and ritual in Mexico.
