How to access media stored on the server

What you need:

  • yourself
  • a computer connected to the folkways/CCE network
  • headphones

1. Turn on your computer & log in. Click Go>Connect to Server.

2. Enter the server address: smb://streaming/media

3. Click Connect.

4. The Workgroup/Domain should be: FOLKWAYSALIVECCE. Enter the user name: vmctm and password: museumses.

5. You are connected! Have fun browsing. If you find the media is choppy, the server could be busy. Try again or drag the item of interest to the Desktop. Make sure you erase it when you're finished.
