Laurie Adkin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Alberta. She teaches courses in the areas of political ecology, Canadian environmental policy, social movements, European politics, and comparative theory. Since 2002 she has been involved in the creation of the interdisciplinary environmental studies BA degree at the U of A. The ENVST BA programme accepted its first cohort of students in Fall 2011.
