The following information is from the old Faculty of Arts Intranet (The new Intranet is in process.)
The Faculty of Arts provides the Dept of Music an annual allocation of $1000 for student travel, which has to be spent by the end of the fiscal year, March 31.  Travel must be completed in order to be reimbursed.
I'm copying it here in case it is useful. It appears that the Dept of Music receives an annual allocation of $1000 for travel, which has to be spent by the end of the fiscal year, I believe (am confirming this). Travel must have taken place already in order to be reimbursed.

  SKITCH Fund SKITCH is a travel award for doctoral and master’s graduate student travel in Humanities, Fine Arts and Social Sciences. The priority will be given to doctoral students. Travel must be completed within the current fiscal year. Maximum individual award is set at $500 and the maximum allocation to each Humanities and Fine Arts department is $800. Financial documentation needs to be given to Alison Hudson by March 1st of the current fiscal year in order for the department to be reimbursed by the Office of the Dean. The departments set their own guidelines for how they allocate these funds to their grad students
