Hi Michael,

Make Music Edmonton 2018 (#MME18) is getting closer and the whole team is very excited J ! Here are the final information about the time and location of your performance, and other important information. Please take a few minute to read everything carefully.

D-DAY:

è Date: The event takes place on Thursday, June 21st 2018

è Location: Edmonton Transcultural Orchestra (ETO) will perform at “WMC” (venue #4). It’s an outside venue located at 10609 124 St NW

è Timing:

o You are expected to perform from 6:40 PM to 7:25 PM

o We ask all the musicians to be there 20mn before their performance to the latest

o It’s a plug and play performance, with only 5mn in between each group. So please be aware that you will not have a lot of time for sound check. Our wish is to have music playing along the street without interruption during the 4 hours of the event.

è Logistics: The sound system is provided, you only have to bring your own instruments (except drum-kits, which are also provided). Please don’t bring any cable/material or if you really need to do, make sure they are labelled with your name.

At each venue, a technician and a volunteer will be there to help you. Please, be aware that your primary contact, during the event, is the volunteer at your venue. If the volunteer cannot help you, then you can reach a supervisor.

è The contact information about the volunteer and the supervisor allocated to your venue will be sent by e-mail few days prior the event.

At last, please be aware of the 2 notices below:

è Insurance: Although the Alliance Francaise holds an insurance premium covering the event itself, the performers are responsible for their instruments and must be covered for their own liability.

è Photo release: Professionals and volunteers will take pictures and videos of your performance. Please be aware that the organization might use these photos/videos in any future promotional materials (brochures, flyers, website, social media…).

Promotion: Please help us to spread the word! Your involvement in the promotion of the event is very important to make it a success J
