Home of Oksana Fedorivna Kryvorot, DOB 1918. Baba San'ka and Natalie Kononenko on the shelf on top of the stove. The stove's construction is evident - the shelf is a prime sleeping area in the winter, as it is especially warm. A curtain covers it, as curtains cover most things. There is a rag rug on the bottom, with duvets and pillows on top, making the hard clay surface of the stove quite comfortable. Note also the tulle covering objects of bedding (and the crocheted rug used to hold it down). There is an embroidered picture of cats on the wall, over a picture cut from a magazine, and purchased rushnyky over that.
