| The graveyard in Ploske. The funeral of Hanna Petrivna Mateiko. Further along in the process of burial: the gravediggers close up the grave. The grave marker to the right memorializes Ivan Trush, a storyteller well known in the village. Material from him was recorded by Academy of Sciences folklore expeditions. Material from his grandchildren was recorded in 2000 as part of a transmission experiment.
