| The home of Motria Andriiivna Perepechai; pictured here is the bench next to the stove or pich'. It is used as a sleeping area (less heated than the shelf on top of the pich' itself). Here it is decorated with pillows. On the wall are photos with rushnyky. The wall is covered with a rug: rugs are typically hung on walls and the floors are covered with coarse, home-loomed runners, something akin to American rag rugs. Motria Andriiivna is known for the beauty of her home. Note that virtually all surfaces are covered with a cloth of some sort; virtually everything is decorated.
