| The wedding of Serhii Mykolaiovych Brovarets to Zoia Ivanivna Zaiets. At the groom's house, the couple is greeted by the groom's parents (actually the mother--the father was probably too drunk). They are greeted with a loaf of bread which is pressed upon them three times in a cross-wise fashion. There are jokes about pressing hard because this will be the last opportunity to do so and suggestions to take it easy because the parents will have to rely on the couple for support. The druzhka and the boiaryn stand to the right.
