| Wedding in Krut'ky. The wedding train assembles at the groom's house. The train will be dispatched by the groom's mother and will go to the bride's house to pick up the bride. At the head of the train are the two starosty (elders) who represent the groom in all dealings with the bride's family. They are tied with rushnyky (ritual towels) which mark their position and which are gifts given in payment for the service they provide in the ritual.
