| This is a mixed village of indigenous residents and people resettled from the Chornobyl region (the village of Burlivka). Pictured is Kateryna Pavlivna Vashchenko, DOB 1922. She is one of the resettled people from Chornobyl. She acted as an informant on the life cycle and some yearly cycle. She also does babuvannia, which here means that she takes care of sick children and people in general. Here she is explaining the various prayers and methods of praying.
