This serves as a formal dining area in the summer and as the main dining area in winter. This is also a living room -- note the TV set directly beneath the icons. This is a sleeping area, as well. The couch on the right is used for sleeping, as is the back of the stove, which goes out into this room. Note the icons, rushnyk, and family photos. Putting a number of small photos together in a large frame is a typical approach. Note also the variety of patterns and the fact that virtually every surface has some sort of decoration on it.
