| The home of Polina Iakivna Latysh and Vasyl' Ivanovych Latysh. This shows another part of the farm, namely the rabbit cages on top and the turkey/ducks on the bottom. The rabbits are an important source of meat protein. The turkey/ducks are literally a crossbreeding between local ducks and imported turkeys. They exist in quite a few villages. They pretty well have free run of the yard, though sometimes they are herded down to the pond or other source of water. In the yard, there is always some sort of container with water for them.
