| The funeral of Novak, Hryhorii Pylypovych, 72 years old. He was reputed to have been a good man, good husband, and father. We missed the funeral service, which was held in his home (there is no church in Iavorivka yet). We joined as the procession left the home. Here the women are carrying the coffin cover, or viko.
