| Funeral of Novak, Hryhorii Pylypovych, age 72. The flowers that had been brought to the cemetery stand ready to be placed on the grave once it is sealed. Note also the adjacent graves. Each plot has a fence. Grave markers are crosses or marble slabs with a slanted top. Latter usually have portraits of the deceased. Artificial flowers are placed on both crosses and stone slabs.
