Display of Hook and other Painters of the Sea and Coasts, Tate Britain
In celebration of James Clarke Hook's centenary in 2007, there is to be a display of several of his paintings, along with selected works by John Brett, Henry Moore, Frank Bramley, and others who followed Hook's lead in painting the sea and fisher folk. The Display is curated by Alison Smith of Tate Britain, in association with Juliet McMaster and Christiana Payne.
There will be a Study Day associated with the Display.
