Description
Bergmálið (The Echo) was an Icelandic language newspaper issued in Gimli, Manitoba. The newspaper was published by Gisli Thompson with the assistance of Gudni Thorsteinsson as editor. It was a bi-monthly newspaper. Bergmálið brought out its first edition on December 18, 1897 and ceased publication on February 14, 1901.
