Framåt was a Swedish language newspaper launched by the IOGT (Independent Orders of Good Templars) Study Circle in February 1916 in Port Arthur, Ontario. It was a monthly tabloid edited by Oscar Johnson. The contents of this newspaper included updates from the Grand Lodge in Winnipeg and IOGT lodges in Port Arthur and Kenora, poetry, jokes, and lessons in the international language Esperanto. Besides, it also covered local news, commercial advertising, notices of local meetings such as Scandinavian Society Verdandi. Framåt's mottoes were Sanning (truth) and Rättvisa (justice). Framåt ceased publication in 1917.
