Den Skandinaviske Canadiensaren was a Swedish language newspaper started by an immigration agent named E. Ohlen in 1887 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The newspaper was later published by J. E. Forslund. In the period from 1887 to 1892, Den Skandinaviske Canadiensaren was published monthly. It published weekly in three years from 1892 to 1895. Later Den Skandinaviske Canadiensaren published irregularly and merged with Vaktaren, another Swedish newspaper in Winnipeg, to become the Swedish weekly named Canada.
