Der Perth Volksfreund was a German language newspaper published by Michael Scherer in two years from 1878 to 1880 in Stratford, Ontario. Then the newspaper was transferred to the village of Listowel in April 1880. Here, it continued to publish for three more years before it declared bankruptcy and ceased publication in 1883.
