Canadische Volkszeitung was a weekly German language newspaper which was first published in Hamilton, Ontario in November 1872. The newspaper had four pages which measured 12 inches wide and 18 inches high. It had an estimated circulation of 800 in 1873. The newspaper suspended publication in April 1875 with very little notice. In the middle of July 1875, Canadische Volkszeitung continued publication in London, Ontario. But it ceased its publication completely in 1876, when Conrad Marxhausen, the publisher, moved to live in the United States of America.
